J. Grunow, Y. Ely, C. Lutzke, C. S011- ner, H. Manning, and M. Walker dramatize Icky Gouie's life in the Girls' S.O. Assembly. Variety is the spice of life and the essence of the assemblies at Arthur Hill this year. Start- ing the schedule off with a bang was the Girls' S.O. Assembly, unequalled in talent in the follow- ing assemblies. The Homecoming and Christmas assemblies provided plenty of color and the dance band and drill team from Michigan Tech were a pleasant divergence from the usual. And then there were the pep assemblies. Remember the one before the Saginaw High basketball game when we made more noise than the school had heard in years? Yes, they were fun and now - - You're excused to your third hour classes . . . The members of this year's dance band are: Back row, C. Chappell, B. Rupprecht, G. Fraser, T. Vitek, and B. Wallace. Front row, B. McKay, T. Lepley, T. Lentner, J. Stormont, J. Sorsenson, D. Markin, and B. Solterman. A relaxing mood was created by tne senior girls' quartet, Nancy Kerns, Mary Johnston, Jacquie Humphrey, and Janet Gage, as they sang Dream and Lullabye of Birdland .
