Football captain, Tom Harvey, escorted Queen Marilyn to the morning assem- il 9 5 bly, where she was first crowned queen t of the 1957 Homecoming. Queen Marilyn's reign was highlighted with the presenta- tion of a gold football by jim Rae, president of the Student Council. Enthusiasm ran high as the queen and her court and their escorts led the Grand-March. They are: M, Whalin, P. McMullen, P. Boyd, B. Miller, J. Izzo, 1. Bommarito, M. Hart, R. Spence, J. Humphrey, T. Grigg, S, Cornish, and R. Wight. 7 Homecoming Homecoming means different things at differ- ent ages. To those of us still in high school, it is a time of excitement and preparation. First comes the all-school nominations, then the inter- view assembly, the election, the Homecoming assembly, game, and dance. To the people who have just graduated, it is an opportunity to get together with their high school friends. For the old alumni it is a treasured memory from their high school days, and at this game they can regain the old school spirit for one more mem- orable night. s 5 ws A c
