TH€ Df Y Of THG M SQU€RI D€ For most people Halloween is a day to dress up in a spooky costume and to others it is a day to live their fantasies. Here at Artesia High, students entered the school grounds dress- ed in a variety of costumes. There were walking pumpkins, flying bumble bees. and television ' s tough guy Mr. T. Each in- dividual ' s costume adds a touch of the person ' s personality. Although these people looked strange for tnis one day it was a relief to know they were our friends and teachers of Artesia High School. 1. Showing his famous gold is Vince liminez. 2. YOUR OUT FOR TH€ DI Y! As the day lingered on and your last class arrived you anticipated for the bell to ring. At last you thought, you could go home and do your own thing. Whether you chose to remain at school or go to the ibrary to finish your homework it was your time (finally) to spend how you chose (unless of course you had detention). Some spirited Artesians went to athletic events such as basketball or baseball games, swim and track meets. while others practiced for such events. Then there was the daily crisis of getting home! Some walked, mooch- ed a ride, or called home, while the lucky and few drove home in their cars. At last, your home! You kicked back, wat- ched T.V. talked on the phone or hit the sack! Sound nice?
