F l lx xxx h E'D LIKE TO Science!Health- The Science Department gave the beginning science students a variety of semester classes this year, such as Oceanography, Environmental Science, Earth Science, and Life Science. The Life Science class was made up of 95 fo labs because the students used the new Investigating Approach lab equipment. Math- The Math Department's goal this year was to make sure that everyone at Artesia is able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. The advanced classes tried to improve the students' skills by using the old fashion drills instead of any new, modern techniques. Social Studies- The Social Studies Department gave each student a wide selection of classes. The list began with Anthropology, going on through the minority groups and their histories in the U.S. including U.S. History and its government. The list continues with classes such as Police Science, Psychology, ' Current Affairs, and Consumer Economics. :ff-'fm f L ip. if 5' , ' f-' 31,3 1 Il E 9 ' l -1 lf ' . E V , ..
