Seeking New Horizons in Moments of i Cont'usement reigns as freshies study a roll room distribution chart posted on the door of the Main. Said one lreshie to another, I know my room number but is it in Treadwell Hall, the Arsenal, Stuart Hall, or the Cafeteria- Music Building? Techites discovered new sights and sounds as they joined in the hustle and bustle of campus life. Squir- rels scampering about, the pinks and greens that adorn the campus in spring, the crispness of a freshly painted classroom, brought to many the realization of the growth and change taking place on Tech grounds. Confident, excited tones echoed through the halls as pupils voiced opin- ions on topics ranging from hippies to the war in Viet Nam. Exploring Spheres of T T Look-alikes Randy Brown, senior and brother Mike, freshman, exemplify physical growth during four years at Tech. 3 Freedom cannot be meas- ured, yet it has boundaries. One of these boundaries is the physical self, another the maturing personality. Life does not stand still, without growth, freedom could not explore its boundaries. During four years of growth Titans saw the campus change from winter bareness to springtime beauty. Shorty freshmen sprouted into tall seniors. Titans made new friends and gained new understandings. Students learned to accept defeat with- out bitterness, or to win without conceit. With ac- ademic growth, Techites saw that just getting by wasn't good enough.
