By 74 Uwwdaw.. with the civic and cultural activities of Q our community, we develop a taste for the finer things of life and prepare ourselves to he leaders of the future. Music, art, literature, the drama- all find their places in Techtown's cur- il f riculum. Skillful minds are taught to ,ff appreciate good art and skillful hands are trained to create it in painting or in sculpturing. Both in vocal and in student instrumental groups, we find joy in sharing our talents with others. To recognize and know the ageless literary works as well as modern writings, to understand and value drama, to make public speaking an art, and to develop civic pride are some of the cultural aims of our town. Because culture must play so large a part in our lives after the war is over, this all-important portion of our education has not been forgotten in Techtown 0
