Boys' State Representative, 7 0y5 009112 John Payne. Boys' league has done a great deal for the com- munity and for Arroyo this year. They collected money at the basketball games for the March of Dimes and put containers for contributions in the community stores. They held a food drive which helped the needy families in this area to have a greater and more bountiful Thanksgiving. The League also co-sponsored the Christmas dance with Girls' League, escorted models for the fashion show sponsored by Girls' League, and continued the annual presentation of the outstanding student award to a graduating senior boy. Girls' State Representative, Sue Carr, The purpose of Girls' League is to promote friends hip and unity among the girls of Arroyo High School, In keeping with this idea their first activity of the year was a Freshman We1come in which senior big sisters became acquainted with the freshman girls. During the annual food drive, held Nov. 14-18, enough food was collected to feed 40 families. Fantasy in Frost, the Christmas dance was held Dec. 9 and was ahuge success.
