The G.A.A. promotes higher mental and physical effi- ciency among girls through purposeful play and wholesome recreation. Girls who participate in the various activities receive points toward a blockA.G. and sweater. An honor roll plaque is awarded to the senior girl earning the most points cluring her high school career. Members must maintain a B average in Physical Educa- tion and display sportsmanship at all times. The girls opened a calendar packed with activities with the Sock Hop. Yuletide gifts were exchanged during the Christmas party. The playday at Santa Barbara provided a number of thrills, including a long bus ride. Various teams engaged in competition. Numerous play nights were held throughout the year with wide participation. Swimming in the new pool proved a wonderful diversion from the routine of school work.
