—-- Each year a group of young people enters high school, and each year another group - far more mature and in command of its faculties- leaves high school. The four year span between these two events en- compasses so much that to define it is almost impossible. To each person the experiences encountered are different, but all have one ex- perience in common - there is change. And so it is with the world in which you will live. For each, life will be unique; but for all of you, there will be change. It is our hope, as we send you on your way, that your experi- ences in high school will enable you to adapt readily to the changes with which you will be confronted - secure in the knowledge that, of all the things in the world, only change itself is constant.
