Commis- sioned in 1959 she displaces 4000 tons and has a crew of 320 of- ficers and men. The ship is 418 feet long and 45 feet at the beam. Her armament includes one 5 54 gun. anti-submarine rocket- thrown torpedoes . Terrier missile systems, and a drone anti-submarine helicopter. The flagship of Destroyer Squadron 31, she was converted to a guided- missile destroyer in 1966, with 90 percent of her original super- structure removed. ' T

She has a medium-range surface-to-air missile, an anti- submarine rocket and a rapid-fire 5 54 gun mount. She is 418 feet long, 45 feet across the beam and has a displacement of 4000 tons.
