Youth has been tried as never before and found equal to every demand of war, on the sea and land and in the air. The years ahead will call for self-sacrifice and idealism for the sublimation of self if we are to attain the highest things of life. If the ideals for which we fought are to become real and lasting you who are graduating must assume your share of re- sponsibility in the post-war world.
