Graduating in 1976, he was voted Most Likely to Succeed by his classmates. Indeed, his short life was a success. Besides his friends and family, his great love was car 03” and racing. It was on November 8, 1980, while preparing to compete in the Nationally known race at Texas World Speedway in College Station, that Ronnie was killed. The time trials had been a success for Ronnie for he had been clocked as one of the fastest cars on the track. Baby Jaws” you went out standing tall and made a small town very proud! Karra attended school in Arnett from 1966 to 1974. She was very active in band, vocal, and sports. She graduated from Woodard High School in 1979. Upon graduation she attended OSU and Draughons School of Business. Karra died as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident. Her absence will be felt by every life she touched. Dedicated to Mr. Jim Parham The 1981 edition of the Arnett Wildcat is dedicated to an outstanding musician and teacher: Mr. Jim Parham. Mr. Parham was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma March 30. 1955. He attended grade school and started Jr. High in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He finished his Jr. High and High School years in Ada, Oklahoma, where he graduated in 1973. Later he went to college and graduated in 1977. He received his masters in the summer of 1980 from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Mr. Parham is in his fourth year with the Arnett Public Schools. He has taught the subjects of band, annual, and some grade school music. Through this dedication, we hope to express our gratitude and appreciation for his outstanding service to the Arnett School System. Kob explains that they do not have a Santa on Mars, so he has been following Santa and wants to take him back to Mars. Santa and the children object, but there is a flash of light, and Santa and the Space Man have vanished. Alice has called her mother on the phone, and she sends over some detectives to investigate. Then a lot of little Red Men come out of another Saucer. They leave, and are followed by the Moon Maidens, the Black Gnomes, the Venus Beauties, the Clowns of Uranus, the Horned Ones from Saturn, and the Soothsayers from Neptune. Santa has visited all these planets, and of course, the people are charmed with him. The children are afraid they will have no Santa this year, when back comes Kob. and santa is with him. He explains that all the planets in the Universe want Santa. At the Universal Court the planets come to the deci- sion that it is possible for Santa to go all over the Universe on Christmas Eve. So Santa becomes Universal. Santa 88 “Santa and the Spacemen CAST Santa Kob Mary Tom ................... Alice Rose Billy ....... Sally Jack Betty Jenny Anne Art.................................... They find out that Uncle Bob is a morti- cian and are ready to leave when Hercules’ cousin, Celeste, shows up. Wilbur falls for her and decides to stay. The Nelsons have an unex- pected guest whose funeral is to be soon. Mr. Quigley is a rich old man, whose sister, Madeline, and granddaughter, Nina are in deep grief for him, although his lawyer, Harry Schuster, is not sorry to see him go. Aunt Mary has her hands full with the antics of Granny and Frankie Nelson. Dr. Brown is another suspicious character and Daphne, the maid, seems to take care of him. Daphne also has her hands full with Claude, the caretaker. Henrietta, the nurse is also into the chaos. Don't jump on the bed! That will be all Henrietta Dale Carnegie never looked so good. After all, Dad Custer is the sixth cousin once removed of the famous General George Custer! Consequently, they aren't easily excited, but today — well the whole household is on the warpath, and they have axes to grind — with a couple of future Eastern in-laws-to-be whose train is chugging West and is due to arrive at the Custers’ home any time. It seems the future-in-laws-to-be have sent a telegram to their nephew with many uncomplimentary remarks about the West and ribbing him about chickens in the house, kerosene lamps and the barbarous people they know the Custers are. Well, son Jimmy — with pal Johnny — intercepts the telegram, proceeds to open it, shows it to Papa Custer, and right then and there the war paint starts splattering. They can't let a couple of old maids ruin the brows from Boston. So the Custers start beating their tom-toms, and decide to give the elderly aunts just what they're expecting. They masquerade as real Westerners. They turn the house topsy- turvy, and then wait for the arrival of their unsuspecting guests. The two spinsters arrive, and our heroes swing into gear, with more action than seven stampedes. Their horseplay is a kick” for one and all. They chase the old gals out, and happily trek to town for a well earned celebration. But on their return, they find that the real sisters from Boston have arrived — two teenagers at that — and things really reach a peak of hilarity as the two girls give our frustrated heroes a dose of their own medicine. It's 100% full of laughs. 92 Curtain call. Cute couple. “Custer’s Last Stand” What a hunk! J. T. Bradshaw Frankie Little Bear The cast. Cast Mr. Custer . Randy Rupprecht Mrs. Custer ....
