I'm kind of moody, you know what I mean . . . I mean, man, I can listen to soft music like Country Roads or Rocky Mountain High and it really brings me down. Other times the same music makes me happy or contented I mean, like after listening to John Denver, I can just sit back, drink a cup of coffee, and appreciate everything I've got. I'm at peace with myself and the world And when I feel this way, I'm creative. I can write tender poems and fine prose, But poems are much easier. There's times when I listen to some loud rock, and I feel like boogying . . . What’s Smoke on the Water or China Grove without friends and nice-looking chicks, without pepsi and pool, and a few laughs? I really dig chicks, And, man, when it gets warm in the spring, after school . . . After school I like to shoot some snooker while the music gets my adrenalin flowing. Free rolling music like The Beat Goes On is really great before a game. The band plays loudly, the beat goes on, I dunk the ball, the beat goes on, I foul out of the game, and the beat goes on.” I'm kind of moody, you know what I mean . . . - Joe Nelson
