Getting ready for guests The Junior class would like to thank the faculty who put up with all of the disturbances and interruptions while they practiced for the play. They would also like to thank all of those who loaned things for the setting. A special thanks is due Mrs. Huffman who put up with the Jun- iors even during the most trying times. George blew the top off the gazebo. 46 OUR ESTEEM On November 30, 1972, the Junior class presented A Token of Our Esteem a three act play by Donald R. Stieper. The first act starts with a murder plan and ends with a bang. The second act further com- plicates the play as the Murder plan is put in reverse only to be fouled up. In the third act the whole family is confused as scene after scene changes the situation for it only to be the same at the end with another murder plot. PAPER STAFF The 1973 paper staff was challenged. It took the seven students in Typing II to get the paper out at the end of each six weeks period. There was a new editor chosen for each edition, and the students had a chance to try their hand at art, cutting stencils, and each of the things that needed to be done to complete each issue of the paper. They did a splendid job of getting each edition out on time. Many thanks are due to these seven students, who took time to give the school a school paper to read. 76 Sandra Chisum, Jo Veta Martin, Maxine Arterberry, Evetta Free, Sheryl Allen, Kevin Allard, Donald Jennings.
