THE 1972 WILDCAT STAFF Jerry, if you flash that camera in my face one more time, I am going to dump all your pictures out! ; Please don't make me do that page over again! ; and various other moans have vibrated the rafters in the annual room. Yet the WILDCAT staff of 1972 pulled through it all. And here are some of the typical scenes that occurred before a deadline. Standing: Lee Phillips, Jr. Member; JoVonna Freeman, Business Manager; Norene McCartor; Jerry Denson, Co- editor; Eulena Clearwater; Lue Vera Word, Co-editor; Mary Hanan; Dennis Smith, Jr. Member; Sitting: Mrs. Coram, Advisor.

We Dedicate This Yet MR. W.H. irbook to. . . LINGG The members of the 1972 WILDCAT Staff dedicate this book to Mr. W. H. Lingg, a man who himself is dedicated to our school. Mr. Lingg has taught at Arnett School for the past 15 years, and before that time he taught at Canton, Keystone, Pleasant View, and Quinlan. He served in the Armed Forces from 1940-1944 and returned to teaching at Capron. With a total of 42 years of teaching, Mr. Lingg has acquired a good under- standing of students and also many headaches. However, Mr. Lingg can still be seen patiently explaining math problems to students; and after gathering up test papers, he can be heard saying, Sold American! And this describes Mr. Lingg perfectly--he is a true American of whom we are proud.
