You seniors of '54 are to be commended for the way you have coninued this policy. Surely there is no memento or keepsake, that canbe purchas- ed by any student for the price of the yearbook which will so enable him to live again - in memory - his happy experiences and friendly associations in school. There are no other peoples or nations in the world who have so much to appreciate as we have. Our democracy guarantees us the right to attend public schools without charge, own. and operate our own business, and to have freedom of speech and press, freedom to worship as we please and all the other free- doms with which we are so familiar. Our freedoms to do as we please have made it possible for the senior class to publish this annual.
