My best wishes for your continued success and happiness in the years ahead. Sincerely yours, D. D. Creech AUDIO-VISUAL EDUCATION By A. H. Woods, Principal The use of Audio-Visual equipment in teaching and learning is the spice of modern education. As this equipment is put more and more into use by the teacher, the desired results of learn- ing will be more clearly recognized. By the projection of the 16 m.m. action-film on the screen, the student can all but experience the learning situation per- sonally. Moreover, the type of movie he views in school is ap- proved for a particular learning situation. The still-picture of the 35 m.m. film strip projector is the greatest aid to classroom instruction. The pictures of the film may be reversed or advanced to fit the class discussion. And the film strips are not so expensive but what each teacher can purchase a film for a definite class need. The Opaque Projector and the Wire Recorder supplement the above mentioned machines to further audio-visual education. Through the continued and more extensive use of all these modern teaching aids, interest and advancement in both teaching and learning shall progress as never before.
