W. A. ORTMEYER SUPERINTENDENT MESSAGE TO SENIORS By their fruits ye shall know them. Jesus made this statement when he was teaching the people of Galilee. It is true today. Every person is known, either favorably or unfavorably, by what he does. To have a successful life and be a good citizen an individual must bear three kinds of fruit. First, he must make an economic contribution. To get this done he must do some constructive, worthwhile work that is a con- tribution to the general economy of the world. Everyone who is physically and mentally able to work should bear this kind of fruit. Second, he should be of some service to his fellowmen. All who are in a worthy occupation serve others. Jesus said, If a man ask you to go with him one mile, go with him two. lt is this extra or additional service that is most fruitful. Third, the most important fruit is fellowship with God. Every individual is different and no two persons seek and find God or walk with the Almighty is easily recognized by the fruit that he bears, Ifl could live my life over again I would try to have a more fruitful life. May I encourage you to so plan and conduct your life that you will bear an abundance of the three kinds of fruit I have mentioned?
