The FINNISHED Product! And as you read, Miss Bohlen told her fourth hour English III class, write down any words that are unfamiliar to you. OH NO!!! Would such a task bother someone who had already studied plenty of words in Swedish, German, French, Finnish AND English?? Nope! Kati could handle the chore beautifully! Transplanted from her native Hel- sinki, Finland to stay with Christina Hesterberg's family near Gifford, ex- change student Eeva Katariina Nuutila demonstrated her quick learning of American ways and words throughout the 82-83 school year. The hardest thing to do at A.T.H.S. besides find enough time, Kati said, was to get her locker open! (Don't worry, even the most American of students may have that problem!) Good luck to you, Kati. We'll miss your grand smile and lovely accent! 12 Kati and her Ameri- can sister Christi- na In Kati's letter to everyone at A.T.H.S.: Hi. I leant to tell everybody that I have had a good time at this school, and I want to thank ei’erybody who has been a big help to me when I have had troubles. I will miss this school and all the students (and teachers too). I will remember you always, and I hope that you'll remember me too. Your letters are always welcome! Leaning on Each Other! Again, a hardy thanks goes out to Mrs. Tate for organizing and sponsoring the many activities behind the scenes for prom. And this year, a very special thank you is extended to Mr. and Mrs. Harlan, whose generous contribu- tions of wonderful ideas and hard work certainly helped make Prom '83 a great success! 84 ' These three things work, will, success fill human existences. Will opens the door to success, both brilliant and happy. Work passes these doors, and at the end of the journey success comes in to crown one's efforts. Louis Pasteur We wish happiness to all Armstrong graduates who have the will to work for their success. Good luck! Good Luck to the Class of '83
