School board, a class just like that of 1967! Senior Class Prophecy The year is now 1977, and Kevin Hedrick, 1967 graduate of that now prosperous metropolis of Armstrong, Illinois, decides to look up all of his old friends. Being a traveling toupee salesman, Kev takes a few weeks off to see them. To start his journey, we'll go to the opposite side of the world, Europe. In Spain, Howard Noblitt is now the World Champion of that wonderful sport, PING-PONG. After her suc- cess with the mini-skirt, Kim Williams is now a famous trend-setting teacher in Liverpool, England. In Ger- many, Kev finds Jim Obenland as Liberace's protege. Liberace and Jim are about to give their first jazz concert. Going off to Sweden, he finds Maria Cox is a world famous hair-stylist. Most of her business comes from her friends who find that Sweden is a perfect vacation spot. In Russia, Kev comes across Dianna Taylor (Smith), a happy housewife with four children, who all know shorthand inside-out and backwards. Her next-door neighbor is her sister-in-law, Mary Wise who is a successful executive secretary for the USSR government. Kevin is getting restless, so he goes on to Arabia, where he finds that Janet Downing has just won the world honor of being the only person who knows how to enjoy SILENCE! In Ethiopia, Kev finds none other than Cheryl Heuer, who is visiting all her fellow Twinkies. Before leaving, Kev learns from Cheryl that Maureen Coder is the all-time paper wad shooting champ of South Africa. Kev makes two more stops in Asia before going back to the States. One stop is in Japan where he finds Sherri Beddoe, a professional cheerleader for the Japan All-Stars. Cathy Dudley is close by. She is carrying on Nancy Sinatra's tradition of These boots are made for walking! down the narrow streets of China. Going down to Australia, Kev finds that Sheryl Creighton is the minister of her church, but in her spare time she tests chairs for breakage-resistance for die Acme Furniture Company. Sheryl tells Kev that most of his other friends are in the States, so he doesn't hesitate to return. Making his first stop in Hawaii, Kev finds that Kathy Shook is President of the Door-to-Door Sales Promotion, and makes her headquarters in Hawaii. Going over to the Bahamas, Debbie Buck is found to be James Bond's pri- vate! !!! secretary. In Florida, Jackie Richardson is teaching her own Math theories in her own personal way! While crossing Florida, Kev finds Nancy Johnston and Mike Jarvis just traveling around. Nancy is a professional shoplifter, and Mike is Toastmaster at all county and state fairs. I'll drink to that, right boys!!!! Traveling up the Atlantic Coast, Kev runs into Jim Jones in Washington, D.C. Jim is the top candidate for DOG-CATCHER!” Coming into New York, Kev finds Janice Dudley occupying her time as a poet in Green- wich Village. RaNae Davies has finally got her barber's permit and gets most of her business from her husband. Moving up into Canada. Kev finds that Gayle Brooks is now full owner of the NO-SWINDLE BROOKS car lot. Business seems to be pretty good. In Alaska, Herb Wooden has his own dog-sled team and sells furs on the side. Next stop is Los Angeles, California. Here Kev finds Diane Hoveln, still trying to get her RN license at Los Angeles County Hospital. Having completed her 500th unsuccessful operation. Diane is ready to try her luck on her 501st case. Her victim is none other than the famous Tiger Acton, college athlete who was injured in his last game. Will it or will it not be a success? Kev does learn from Greg that Bill Camp is now quarterback for the good ol' Green Bay Packers, but still trying to pass Chemistry! In Iowa, Kev finds that Jerry Jarboe has taken over as N. F.O. national President, and the organization has doubled its production of car stickers. In St. Louis. Missouri. Mark Dorsey has finally fulfilled his high-school dream of attending St. Louis U. Fact is. he is now Dean of the university. Coming closer to Illinois, Kev finds a familiar Home Ec teacher in Indiana. Linda Soloman specializes in sewing, but in her spare time is seen with a local hog farmer. Now a local hog farmer, Stan Gildersleeve raises 10, 000 hogs yearly. Coming even closer to Armstrong. Kev runs into Pauline Rocker in Oswego, which is now a suburb of Arm- strong. Here Pauline is a happily married housewife with four children. In her spare time she is seen racing with a four-on-the-floor---four kids, that is! When Kev finally reaches Armstrong, he finds Mike Dorsey as the head auctioneer at the Penfield, Chicago Sale Barns and Stockyards. In Collison, Larry Cundiff is leader of that fearful gang, Collison Wild Angels! Kev finds Pam Kissack teaching Successful Housekeeping in Potomac, where she is a happy housewife. Diana Greer has taken over the job of Champaign - Vermilion County Deputy Sheriff from her father-in-law. Finally Kev reaches his old home spot, Armstrong High, which now has an enrollment of 3, 000 students. While he is there, he finds that some of his friends just couldn’t leave the old place. After four unsuccessful years at Eastern, Anita Schluter is found behind the scorekeeper's bench at every ATHS ballgame. She has final- ly reached the top—official scorekeeper’s position. Carl Wise, now a Chemistry professor, is assisting Big Bill with his nine-class schedule each day. Kev was really surprised when he saw the coach of the Armstrong's All- Star Big Ten Team. To his amazement it was—Coach Steve Willard!!!! Juniors JUNIOR OFFICERS Vice-President President. . . Secretary. . . Treasurer. . . . . . . Barry Keal . . . . Ron Shafer . . Debbie Wolfe .
