ames T. Rogers Dean of Student Affairs ffm The Dean of Student Affairs at Armstrong, Dr. james T. Rogers, coordinates all non-academic activities involving stu- dents. His numerous duties include supervision of student activities, registration, counseling and the student financial aid program. Dr. Rogers is responsible for coordinating the orientation program for entering students. He serves as the Chairman of the Admissions Committee and is a member of all student affairs committees. As Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Rogers serves as the main link between the Administration and the student body. A great part of the responsibility for campus communications lies with Dr. Rogers. oseph I. Killorin Dean of The College gl--.xg X As Dean of Academic Affairs Dean joseph I. Killorin has many responsibilities. He is responsible for all academic as- pects of life at Armstrong State College. To Dean Killorin falls the responsibility of guiding the establishment of the curriculum for the various degrees offered at Armstrong. Working with the department heads, Dean Killorin main- tains and supervises the college faculty. He is responsible for the scheduling of classes, including additions to and deletions from the schedule. Dean Killorin also works very closely with the faculty in solving day-to-day problems as well as in making decisions of lasting importance.

Anderson has efficiently taken over the role of Associate Dean for Community Services. Working together with Mrs. Mary Strong, Dr. Anderson strives to make aware to the public Armstrong State Colleges programs and needs. He continually aids in the growth of Armstrong as a four- year institution by developing and coordinat- ing such programs as Operation Return, which is aimed at assisting people interested in returning to college after having been out for a number of years. At present, Dr. Anderson plays a dual role. In addition to his duties as Associate Dean for Community Services, Dr. Anderson is also serving as Head of the Department of Edu- cation. With Mrs. Mary Dan Coleman, Dr. Anderson strives to prepare students for a career in the teaching profession. Teaching in the Education Department, counseling edu- cation majors, and working with the Com- munity Services and the public make Dr. An- derson an integral part of the administration and faculty of Armstrong State College.
