Henry L. Ashmore Armstrong State College is rapidly growing and ever expanding its program under the very capable leadership of our President, Dr. Henry L. Ashmore. The responsibility for securing and maintaining new buildings and programs lies with Dr. Ashmore. It is possible for a college to exist without extensive effort on the part of the Presidentg however, if an institution is to grow and take its place among the respected institutions of higher education, it must have effective and dynamic leadership. oseph I. Killorin Dean of The College gl--.xg X As Dean of Academic Affairs Dean joseph I. Killorin has many responsibilities. He is responsible for all academic as- pects of life at Armstrong State College. To Dean Killorin falls the responsibility of guiding the establishment of the curriculum for the various degrees offered at Armstrong. Working with the department heads, Dean Killorin main- tains and supervises the college faculty. He is responsible for the scheduling of classes, including additions to and deletions from the schedule. Dean Killorin also works very closely with the faculty in solving day-to-day problems as well as in making decisions of lasting importance.
