Enrollment Fifth in State For the second year, Arlington State College has been ranked fifth in enrollment among state-supported schools. Ahead of Arlington still loom the University of Texas, the University of Houston, Texas Tech- nological College, and North Texas State University. ASC, however, is only three hundred students short of fourth place. Students got a taste of how massive 11,513 students could be as they waited in endless lines. Coeds were pleasantly surprised as they discovered that the ratio of boys to girls was still four to one. Upperclassmen dis- played their authority by introducing freshmen to the famous, or infamous, beanie, Social clubs could be found giving students infomiation about their organizations.
