Professor Smith was head of the Arlington State department of engineering from 1950 until assuming his new duties. He is responsible for utilization of facilities, teacher schedules, and registration for the School of Engineering. Professor Smith came to ASC in 1946 as a professor in the engineering department.

Nedderman, dean of the school of engineering. Dr. Nedder- man has been overseeing the development and overall opera- tion of the school since his appointment to the post September 1, 1959. Dr. Nedderman came to Arlington State from Texas ASM where he spent the previous ten years as a professor of civil engineering. The dean of the school of engineering holds his doctor's degree in the field of structural engineering.
