Nedderman, dean of the school of engineering. Dr. Nedder- man has been overseeing the development and overall opera- tion of the school since his appointment to the post September 1, 1959. Dr. Nedderman came to Arlington State from Texas ASM where he spent the previous ten years as a professor of civil engineering. The dean of the school of engineering holds his doctor's degree in the field of structural engineering.

i Dean S Dr. Samuel T. Keim, jr. arrived on the Arlington State Campus in the Summer of 1960 to occupy the newly-created post ol' Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences. The dean is responsible for the academic program of the School of Arts and Sciences, involving the areas of faculty, curriculum, and 's ' T. Keim physical facilities. Planning, co-orclinating, and directing activities in these areas constitutes his principal duties. Dr. Keim came to ASC after five years as head of the Business Administration Department at Kansas State University.

He came to Arlington State as head of the education and q psychology department after working in Texas public schools. Dr. p . V -me ii. - 46, A M. W, n v 16 G. Elton Smllll Charles H Connallg G. Elton Smith, assistant to the dean of the School of Engineering, is also head of the department of civil engineering. Professor Smith was head of the Arlington State department of engineering from 1950 until assuming his new duties. He is responsible for utilization of facilities, teacher schedules, and registration for the School of Engineering. Professor Smith came to ASC in 1946 as a professor in the engineering department.
