FCREWORD ln this, the first peace-time Iunior Aggie in tive years, We have tried to give you a picture ot the lite at a school which is undergoing reconversion. Here at NTAC We have a strange mingling of the elements ot War and peace. On our campus we have seen evidence of the changes which are tak- ing place in all parts oi our great coun- try. ,g Ongone hand We have a host of re- turning veterans Who, after years oi War and fighting, have come hack to continue their education, and, at the same time, We see a small, but steady, stream ot younger boys still laying down their loooks and taking up the lite ot soldiers at the call of Uncle Sam. We have bade goodbye to the last ot the V-l2 Units, We have noticed an in- crease in the number of girls Who are leaving school for matrimony, now that their men have come home. Although some war-time scarcities still exist, We have begun to see peace-time commod- ities again, and, as this reconversion continues, We are all eager to do our part toward making a reality of the great tuture Which is planned ior NTAC.
