Mr. DIott, My First Class how often we have heard you say those words to us. As freshmen and principal we entered A.H.S. together. We couldn ' t have asked for someone who cared more about his students than you have. Together we have done many things for Arlington High School. Thank you for your encouragement and sup- port over the last four years. The Class of 1988 It is with great pride that Arlington High School wishes farewell to you, the Class of 1988. You are a special class to me personally as you are the first group that I have had the privilege of knowing for four years. During these years I have witnessed outstanding academic growth. In your junior and senior years, you developed the self-confidence necessary for academic success. You can now leave Arlington High School well prepared to take your next academic or career step. In addition, your class has always been highly spirited and heavily involved in extra-curricular activities. The literary magazine. Fourth Estate, Gilbert and Sullivan Club, Computer Club, sports teams and other school activities benefited from your participation. In addition, your social activities such as proms and semis set records for attendance and enthusiasm. However, even your long list of accomplishments do not tell the full story of the Class of 1988. You are a group of young people who have been a pleasure to work with. Your enthusiasm and dedication have made Arlington High School a better place. I have truly enjoyed working with you as your principal. I wish you all the best of luck in pursuing your individual goals. You are the future leaders of the Town of Arlington. 2 Stephen P.
