,Senior lffisiurg 1'l'I8 ltl'I'l in N51 The Pages entered their first year of high school with one hundred twenty-seven members. They elected Blaine Bergam, president, Bob Put- nam, vice president, Anita Joergenson, secretary, Alice Sneve, treasurer, and Jerry Garka, yell leader. The freshmen took part in many activities with twenty-six members attending the Honor Society Banquet, ten boys on the Junior High basketball team, three members in the All-School Play, and presented a successful Sophomore - Freshmen Party. The Men-at-Arms began their sophomore year under the direction of Laurin Foster, president,Gerald Miller, vice president, Anita Joergenson, secretary, Betty Boursaw, treasurer, and Barbara Davison, yell leader. The class had many accomplishments in their book, including forty-one members in Honor Society, four members in the All-School Play, four football lettermen, two active members in debate, one tennis letterman, one baseball letter- man, one basketball letterman, presented the Freshmen-Sophomore Party, and placed third in the Girls' League Mixer. The Squires entered their junior year headed by LeRoy Johnson, president, George Spencer, vice president, La Veta Penney, secretary, Audrey Peter- son, treasurer, and Max Rankin, yell leader. The Squires had thirty-five members in Honor Society, twenty-one girls in Drill Team, three basketball lettermen, five football lettermen, one member in debate, gave a success- ful Junior-Senior Dance, and presented the Moonlight and Roses , as their Junior Prom. The Knights at the top of the stairway were under the leadership of George Spencer, president, Gerald Miller, vice president, Alice Sneve, secretary, and Zoe Ann Russell, treasurer. Under the advisership of Miss Kretschmar, they continued to gain accomplishments--Senior Play, Our Miss Brooks , Junior-Senior Dance, presented Hawaiian Paradise as their Senior Ball, thirty members in Honor Society, four basketball lettermen, seven football lettermen, eight members on the debate team, and twenty-seven girls in Drill Team.
