Many Faculty Roles The faculty at Arlington High School works as a group and individually to help the students reach their various goals. Russell Attis served as Divi- sion Head of the Physical Education Department. Alma Leonhard was the Department Chairman in the English Department and Kenneth Schaller was Department Chairman for the Social Science De- partment. L Hugh Jones headed the Science Department as Department Chairman, and the Mathematics De- partment Chairman was James Ulrich. Hazel Faulk- ner served the Business Education Department as its Department Chairman. Norman Nielsen. serv- ed as Department Chairman for the Foreign Lan- guage Department. Curtis Larsen was Supervisor in the Industrial Arts Department. The counseling office did a great deal for the students at Arlington this year. Advice was given to students on everything from personal problems to college choices. Director of Pupil Personnel Services was Donald Schroeder. A large amount of students were involved in the various art and music activities this year. Su- pervisor for the Art and Music Departments was Mr. Fred Schmoyer.
