So you think you had a problem this year getting through crowded hallways and finding' out-of-tlie-way rooms! ltlayhe it's reconciling to know that there wertz seven people who had even bigger problems connected with the school, This all-important group, to whom fell the difficult task of running Arlington High smoothly and efficiently, was the Board of Education. President of the Board. Nlr. George Sheppard. and the other six members met monthly to diseuss the fune- tions of the Board. Some of their duties were budgeting, providing the best equipment and staff possible, and shap- ing the general educational program of the school. This year members were particularly concerned with the future expansion of the AH district and the increasing population. This IBM machine. inspected by Mr. Oliver and Mr. Lowry. may not produce 864.000, but it aecounts for almost 64,000 grades a year. BO RD, DMINISTR Mr. Daryl Oltlztker.
