Don on the S-W-E-E-P. The Conference . Tom throws the bomb. Get up Davis . Red Devils 2nd Look out here come BIG Mat! The Fearsome Foursome! As the record shows, the 1969- 70 Red Devil foot- ball season proved to be one near to perfection. The determined Red Devils came from the cellar with an image of the B.V.C. crown placed within an arm's length by first year coach Steve Basinger and his assistants. The Red and Black defenders proved to be the strong point of the team, terrorizing one team after another. A few mistakes kept them from shuting out several more teams. The offensive unit also proved to be strong as they raged throughout the county. All in all, the 1969 Red Devils proved to a lot of people that this is FOOTBALL COUNTRY . 24

REFLECTIONS OF NOON Half the noon hour is spent again 'preparing for the afternoon class- es. The girls especially have to comb their hair, get cold drinks, and talk over the morning classroom news. Noon hours are also a good time to put in a little extra time for afternoon tests. Many times its hard to study at noon but if it means saving your grade, it can be done. 23
