Vorsity Footboll Van Buren at Arlington John Gehrisch scored three of Arlington's four touchdowns, as we won our first game of the season. lim Hindall scored the first touchdown with a pass from Tom Honecker good for 24 yards. Arlington 28 ---- Van Buren O Cory -Rawson at Arlington The Red Devils jumped off to an 8-0 lead the first time we had the ball, but we couldn't contain Cory- Rawson's explosive offense. Arlington 14 ---- Cory -Rawson 30 Arlington at Liberty-Benton Jim Hindall scored Arlington's only touchdown with a five-yard end sweep. Mike Musgrave and Tom Or- wick played good defensive ball. - Arlington 8 ---- Liberty-Benton 26 Arlington at Leipsic ' T Arlington couldn't get on the scoreboard as the Red Devils dropped a decision to Leipsic. Arlington O ---- Leipsic 18 Arlington at McComb Arlington played its best game against a fine Panther team which won the county championship. The Red Devils left the field at the half involved in a scoreless tie. Arlington game back in the third period, intercepted a pass, and Jim l-Iindall blasted into paydirt with the score. McComb came back with a score and Arlington left the field with a tie. Arlington 6 ---- McComb 6 Arlington at Vanlue John Gehrisch scored Arlington's lone touchdown and Tom Honecker ran the conversion as the Red Devils bowed to the Wildcats. Arlington 8 ---- Vanlue 34 Arlington at Hardin-Northern The Red Devils couldn't score as we dropped our last game of the season to the Polar Bears. Arlington O ---- l-lardin-Northern 26 CENSORED Boy! Arlington at Mechanicsburg Arlington played Mechanicsburg for the first time in our school history. There were only five lettermen returning for the Red Devils and we weren't sure of our- selves.
