Class History On Septemer 6, 1947, forty-six brilliant looking students trooped into Mrs. Castor's room. During our first year we lost Connie Clark, Ronnie Businger, Judy Garlinger, Nettie Hosman, Jimmy Parrott, Janice Marquart, Robert Marquart, Doris Rausch, James Wilch and Patty Zent. Our second year was spent under the guid- ance of Mrs. Simpson. We gained Donnie Bass, Larry Oman, Carol Ackerman, David Cooper, Gerald Smith, and Jerry Carl Smith. Mrs. 1PrattJ Miller was our third grade teacher. Orvilla Deitrich, Leontine Wise, Janice Butler, and Jimmy Sims were added, but before the year had ended we lost David Cooper, Gerald Smith, and J immy Sims. Our fourth year was under the tutelage of Mrs. Weber. Mike Smith, Bud Lafferty, Beth Ann Arras, Homer Chamberlain, Roberta and Robert Sparks joined us. We lostJerry Carl Smith, Beth Ann Arras, Janice Butler, and Donnie Bass. We spent our fifth year with Mrs. Firsdon. Joyce Hughes and Mary Jean Spaeth joined up, but Orvilla Deitrich left. Our sixth year was under Earl fMikeJ Gobrecht's care. Jeanette Butler, Ella and Jerry Lee Shafer, Larry Fletcher, David Dillinger, Tom Hendricks, Ronnie Bibler, Kenny Powell, and Karen Baumgard- ner joined us. Bud Lafferty, Celesta Quinn, and Jerry Lee Smith left. Our seventh grade was under Mrs. La Roche's counsel. Norman Rettig, Robert Reigle, Diane Beach, Barbara Marquart, and J oretta Fletcher joined us. We lost Homer Chamberlain and Larry Day. Mr. Daley was the boss during our eighth year. Roy Reigle joined us, but we lost J oretta Fletcher, Larry Fletcher, Roberta and Robert Sparks, Ella and Jerry Lee Shafer, and Kenny Powell. We became Freshmen with Mr. Castor and Mrs. Knight as our advisers. Joining us were Max Connode, Doris Rausch, James Wilch, Janice Marquart, James Wright, and Robert Marquart, Carol Ackerman, Katherine Smith, Joyce Hughes, and Robert Reigle left us. Our Sophomore year began with Mr. Trostrniller and Mrs. Welty, as advisers. We lost Max Connode, Leontine Wise, Roy Reigle, Norman Rettig, James Wright, and Barbara Marquart, We became Juniors with Mrs. Beach and Mr. Mengert, as advisors, and we gained Karen Boyce. We are Seniors at last with Mrs. Falk and Mr. Rost, as advisers.
