SENIOR CLASS POEM Through autumn, winter, and springtime too we trudged to school, many subjects to rule. No warning sirens to shriek in distress And warn us, that we may be dispossessed. Just happy-go-lucky students are we, The Spirit of Liberty our hearts inscribe, Companions, friends, and neighbors to be, Let our memories of knowledge be our guide. While all of us can't be Top-sergeants As oorporals the top is in sight. Now the teachers, they're just buck privates, For all Seniors are really quite bright. Though the way be steep and rough at times, With ambition as our guide we'll rise and shine. Pray no one our heritage of Independence mar, Like tho unfortunate youth of lands afar. Though we are young and not so tame Our weapons we carry high, Honor, valor, and wisdom our aimg Dictators, take warning, wo're sly.
