The Finished Symphony They seem so short, and yet so sweet, These high school years we soon complete. For eight brief terms, we've stood together, In rain or shine, in any weather. This year we part. Where shall we go? Some to collegeg the rest don't know. We wonder if we'll sometimes see Those friends so dear to you and me. We entered high school, Freshmen gay, Far from ambitious, some might say. Yet staunch and true, we made a name. As interclass champs, we gained our fame. Thence to regents, a Sophomore class! One year has gone, How fast they pass! Juniors! Seniors! Three years left now,- We were the ones to show them how. Sedate we were and our pranks were few, We'd study hard, be stylish, too. We were Junior ladies and Junior men. Another year had passed again! At last, the goal! We're Senior Lords. We've reached the topg we lead the hordes! With insight keen, our prospects bright, We'1l prove that right alone makes might. Edward Pes Alrno Meter Oh Arlington, all praise to thee We will ever sing thy dear name And when we go out from thy care We ll be loyal and spread thy fame. Chorus Oh dear Arlington, we'll never forget 0,110 The lessons we've learned and the friends we have met Oh dear Arlington, ever we'l1 sing Till the world with our echoes ring, Like the gleam from a beacon light Shining clear through the darkest night Thy colors, Maroon and Gold Set the standard of truth and right. We ve spent many happy days Neath the shelter of thy dear walls. We re preparing for 1ife's long trail Each year as we pass through thy halls.
