Choir Adds Special Bene- tit to Hill After hours of long work the A Capella choir pro- duced the year's first choir pro- gram. Director Mrs. Donna Nor- ton choreographed the show which followed the style of a show choir. The pop music style show included Jump Shout Boogie, The Things We Do for Love, and Ever- green. Randy Slovachek sang the solo, Almost Like A Song. David Copeland played accompaniment for the choir on the piano. Kathy Basham prepares to throw a kiss to her fan club. : Chorus 29 ee er a — —

Heights Is the Word on First Grease Day : In honor and support of the last district football game, the Student Council sponsored the first ''Grease Day'’. Besides wearing clothes from the 50's era, many hopelessly devoted Height- sters dressed up as their favorite ‘Grease’ character. As a bonus, a free concert ticket was awarded at the pep rally to the best dressed girl and guy. Heights Welcomes Parents at Open House Teachers got the opportunity to meet the parents of their students at the Heights Open House, November 7th. Not only did parents have a chance to discuss their child's progress with their teachers, but were also treated to exhibitions by the bas- ketball team, the Jacket Journal Staff, and advanced chemistry and art students. SOH and ROTC members assisted parents in find- ing classes. Also, the PTC held a bake sale in the cafeteria to raise money. Pit : —y Mr. Larry Barnes discusses the need for Latin W. P.
