MQSTEST CONTEST Heights Selects Mostest Personalities Black lights illuminated the discotheque stage settin of the annual Mostest Contest, sponsored bygocgffet Iournol and Yellow locket staffs. Posters an pop musical numbers provided a contempo- rar atmosphere for the production. Plreshman Ann Lindsay and senior Chuck Taylor were named Most Beautiful and Most Handsome, and Most Talented winners were Sharon Loveall and Bil jackson. Finalist performances for the tal- ent division included piano and guitar solos and dramatic readings. Iudging was done by Mrs. Gus Bates Ir., director, Powers chool of Modelingg Miss Maggie Moor, TCU ballet choreo rapherg Mr. Perry Stewart, amusements writer Eur the Star Telegromg and Mr. Irwin Swint, prominent local actor. Qld West Lives gain During Ranch Da In recognition of the Rodeo and Fat Stock Show, Ranch Day re- turned to the Hill after an absence of two years. Variations in the dress codes were allowed as long as the changes pertained to Indian or west- ern wear. The Student Council s onsored the showing of The Man Xlillho Shot Liberty Valencew to a large Crowd in the school auditorium on Ranch Da Eve. Bill Fuller and Sharon Loveaii provided entertainment throughout the show. im Laine and Mary Phil- lips awar ed Ranch Foreman and Queen, Mark Hines and Ioan Uber- man, with traditional cowboy hats.
