What Is A Friend? What is a friend? A friend is someone Who shares your every feeling. They're happy when You're happy and if you're Glad, sad or even mad That's how a friend feels. If you're going through Hardships, they're there To help you along If you need confidence, They're there to give you some. When you are having Trouble walking the Road of faith, they're There to give you help And encouragement and to guide you, If you're lonely, they're There to comfort you and To keep you company. There aren't very many People in the world who You can share your every feeling. If you can't find that Special someone, you should Meet my friend, He's always With me no matter what And there are a lot of People in this world. Who know my friend. His name is Jesus. -Donna James- In honor of the 1 Oth anniversary of Arlington Christian School, the Yearbook Staff chose Happy Birthday as this year's Yearbook theme. When we think of birthdays, we think of cake, presents, and sharing the day with our friends. Let us together thank our Best Friend Jesus, for helping A.C.S. grow and laugh through the past 10 years. I IN MEMORY OF DONNA RENAE JAMES December 30, 1968 - September 21, 1984 Donna's first year at A.C.S. She was young and beautiful A girl who loved the Lord We had her here and she slipped away into the Lord's precious arms. How was she to know she would be the lucky one Donna Renae James We can cry ourselves to sleep but can't change the things that are done She's gone to be with the Lord forever experiencing what we can't comprehend She left behind some memories we can only dream And live the life she once lived To receive the gift - life eternal In the Lord's precious arms. -Clare Van Tol God needed another angel, so waking along Life's shore, He tenderly paused for a moment, Then knocked at the James' door. Donna, sweet little lass, He wanted: she had brightened earth so since she came; I thought I could spare you'', God whipsered; But I need you in heaven again. So she went back with God, sweetly leaving The warmth of her dear mother's love, And her Dad's, brother and sister and loved ones, Yet now she looks on from above. As we give up Donna, so wanted, The courts of Heaven rejoice. God needed another angel, And the fairest on earth was His choice. Oh the door to the beautiful city Will always be slightly ajar, And my way to the Mansion Celestial, Will never again seem so far. -Raymond Andringa Our main goal for Donna was that she would grow up know- ing and loving Jesus, so that her life would shine for Him and reflect on others. Donna knew that for her to be happy she must try to always keep her eyes on Jesus. She loved ACS and we know that much of her growth Came from her caring teachers and the many friends she had in school. Our biggest dream for Donna came true, at 15, she graduated early to go home with her Lord. Love in Christ, Bob and Marlys James IT'S PARTY TIME!
