. . . Changes and Additions Changes have taken place on the ASU campus. During the summer, the Physical Plant added new, attractive wastebaskets to the campus to help control littering. Caraway Road was changed to one-way through the campus to create additional parking spaces and new windows were added to Wilson Hall to add beauty and save energy. Construction also began on a new and larger WigWam in what was formerly the bowling and recreation rooms. The new WigWam was finished this spring and offers a larger food selection. 12

. . . Contests Other contests include the more violent kind. This pertains to the ASU Indian football team and the sports contests its participates in. The Indians finished the season with a 6-5 record. We also have the dirty contests which include the Pi Kappa Alpha Little Olympics. Sororities on campus compete against each other in events such as tug-of-war, snake chain, limbo and wheelbarrow, many of which are conducted in a mud pit dug for the contest. 11
