THE GYMNASIUM is the scene of all home basketball games. It also serves as classrooms for courses in Health and Physical Education. THE AGRICULTURE BUILDING was built in 1938 and serves as a classroom for all agriculture majors and minors. There are approximately It) classrooms in the building. THE FINE ARTS BUILDING was built in 1919 and was re- modeled last year in order to supply students with more prac- tice and classrooms. It now has approximately 40 classrooms, of- fices, and practice rooms. 12

BARNHART HALL was built in 1912 and is one of the oldest buildings on campus. Tbe dormitory houses approximately 50 stu- dents. LEWIS HALL was built in 1912, soon alter the college was found- ed. Lewis is home for 45 girls. Ml WOMEN ' S RESIDENCE HALL was erected in 1933 and is the largest girls dorm on campus. It houses 150 girls during the regular school year. Each of ASC ' s three sororities have their club- rooms in the basement of the building.

■ t ' THE SCIENCE BUILDING was built in 1939. The building has approximately 50 classrooms and offices, a rifle range and a drill hall within its walls. Courses in Mathematics, Science, and engineering are taught in this building. THE HANGAR BUILDING was built in 1943 in order to teach courses in flying at Ark- ansas State. Flying has disap- peared from the curricular, but the hangar remains. It now houses the Physical Plant and serves as a dorm for football players. THE ARMORY was built last year to house the 327th AAA National Guard Battalion. The building also provides ROTC classrooms and offices. iLi
