The WOMEN ' S NEW DORM was erected in 1954 and is one of the most modern dormitories on campus. The dorm serves as a home away from home for approximately 85 girls. . . . and there is always time for harmonizing. When time comes for relaxing, you can always find a record party in full swing. 1

OUR CAMPUS THE EDUCATION BUILDING was erected in 1936. Courses in Education, Psychology, and Social Science are taught in approximately 15 class- rooms. THE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING was erected in 1932 to replace the old administration building which had burned the previous year. The Ad building houses all the administrative of- fices of Arkansas State College as well. as the Library, Bookstore, and Wigwam. 8

THE NEW MEN ' S DORM is one of the new- est dorms on campus. It was built in 1954 and houses 90 upperclassmen. The dormitory is completely modern. THE COLLEGE CLUB was erected in 1930 as a faculty apartment building. To meet the growing demand for more dormitory space on campus, it was converted into a beys ' dorm. Approximately 60 boys live in the dorm during the school year. DANNER HALL was built in 1933 under one of the first WPA programs in the United States. Danner is named for Mr. W. S. Danner, a long time member of the Arkansas State College Board of Trustees and benefactors of ASC. The dorm is the home of over 200 boys. 10
