r tf rkansas State College exists for the purpose of serving Jl - the youth of the commonwealth. State College re- cognizes as its duty the training of students in the various fields of human endeavor, so that they will be able to adjust themselves to the present social order. As a part of its program in education, Arkansas State helps its students to develope proper attitudes, desirable ideals, and high ethical standards. This college is not only seeking to provide opportunities for professional and vocational training, but it also strives to give a type of education which contributes to the personal growth of the individual ; an education that increases the students thinking power and his culture.
