El Matador asked faculty members to offer their SUSSGS' tions and criticisms in answer to the question: What do you feel should be done to improve AWC during the next ten years? The time has come to stabalize, to settle down. The next decade should be one of consolidation, careful refinement and innovation. AWC has the advantage of being able to have relatively small classes. We should perfect and innovate in the teaching-learning atmosphere that this advantage gives us. The next ten years will see changes in attitudes toward education. AWC is in the unique position to lead the way. Education for the sole purpose of owning a degree will de- crease in importance. Rather, education for the purpose of becoming self-supporting will be on the increase. This will be followed with the attitude that education will be for enjoyment and will also be used -to augment other leisure activities through new skills and insights. We should plan the schooI's future to meet these new needs. 74 E4 John Ahearn 1968 Philosophy Myldred Beasley 1963 Bookstore Manager Moses Camarena 1971 Mathematics 81 Wrestling Coach MK Q sf? 1 Q X XR if ip -sf Z6 7 fu f , z .
