Although she didn ' t keep in touch with any of her roommates from freshman year, she admitted living in the residence halls had opened her up to many friendships. She probably would have missed out on much of this had she been in an apartment or house. Especially now that she was almost done with school and more serious about her studies, and not particularly active in the usual dorm activities, constant noise and parties which could sometimes get annoying. Her concentration was now more on school and receiving the psychology degree she was so close to completing. She planned on moving closer to her roots back East and possibly attending school at Boston College. Looking ahead to her future she admitted to being slightly terrified, but was somehow at the same time. Ever since I can remember, that ' s what I always wanted to do, she added.
