ADMINISTRATION The people pictured on tliis page are powerful faclors in institutional administration They are by way of being driving wheels of auxiliary engines. H. V. Batchelor is librarian. Anybody on campus this year knows what aspirin bait that office must be. what with Matthews library under going Operation Mushroom and the tomes stored in the garage. But, you know what? Nobody goes bookless. Nerve center of the market is Robert F. Menke. Employers in education and business meet in his files with the job-hungry, and happy unions result. His title is Director of Placement Bureau. That ' s a very useful agency he runs for ASC. Dwight Kool, as Principal of the Payne train- ing school, is custodian of ASC s own educational laboratory. Incipient teachers work with his real life charges to test Messers Dewey, Thorndike. Pestalozzi, et al. Mildred B. Sayre is titular Dean of Vomen of ASC. At present she is away on leave. MILDRED B. Many wheels must turn to make ASC ' s progress. The jobs these men do look different, as shown, but they ' re all part of the big campus picture. Some, like Fenn Harris, upper right, and Bill Henrie, lower left, keep it repaired and clean; some, like Bob Svob, horticulturist, left center, keep it pretty; some, like Bill Imhoff, lower right, keep it peaceful; and still others, like Dan Tedrick, pub- licist, there at twelve o ' clock on the page, keep the world informed about it.
