ADMINISTRATION VhiIe the ASC physical plant has been sprouting new buildings and additions, the college administration hasn ' t been standing still. Increased enrollment lias placed new demands on the com- petent staff, ever on the move to overcome difficul- ties bound to arise on this expanding campus. Dr. Harold D. Richardson, in his first year as Dean of the College, has had his work cut out for him. but his persistent leadership is bringing about constant improvement in administration-faculty- student relations. Mrs. Hall and Dean Trovillo are his field force. Mr. Trovillo, Dean of Men. counseled and pro- vided help in matters of grade slippage. Fraternity expansion was one of his major considerations for the year 194Q-50. Mrs. Hall, acting Dean of Vomen, is also director of student activities. i GEORGE YATES GILBERT CADY ALFRED THOMAS, JR. George Yates, ' Pappy to his friends, and they are legion, took a few months off this year to regain his good health. He returned for the second semester to resume a demanding program of public relations and teaching. Anyone who has anything to do with college funds has come in contact with Gilbert Cady, sentry at ASC ' s pursestrings. Pass- words are feasibility and regulations. Alfred Thomas. Jr., is Registrar and Director of Admissions. Ve might just call him The Conductor. He checks you aboard, then when your destination approaches he takes another look at the ticket and sees to it personally that you go where you ' re headed. DR. FRED CRAWFORD DR. ROY C. RICE Dr. Fred Crawford is Director of the Graduate Division. He runs a whole school; one under- going heavy increases. He sees to it the Secondaries go out to their professions ready, and even more erudite than the state of Arizona requires them to be. Dr. Roy C. Rice has in his hands the new gargantua. Sum- mer Sessions. The campus is nearly as crowded near the Fourth of July as it is just before Christmas.
