Arizona State into one of the largest and best institutions of higher learning in the West. The college has built a new women's hall, renovated and remodeled its science build- ing and auditorium and is now in the process of completing a new women's activity building. A modern stadium, seating 4000 people, was completed recently. Functioning this year for the first time as cooperative offices, are the office of dean of the college and the dean of women's office. Dean of the college is Dr. I. G. Grimes, psychologist and educator, who assumed the position at the beginning of this term. Dean Grimes has helped students greatly in his first year, making a real contribution to the harmonious cooperation of students and faculty for a better administration. Also new to her office is Miss Mildred Blair, former instructor of English at the college. Dean Blair has gone far in an attempt to coordinate and harmonize the social and extra-curricular activities of the college and to establish a central office for student guidance. Along with these duties, Dean Mildred Blair teaches Freshman English. Administering the general college curriculum is Mr. F. M. Irish, in charge of all details pertaining to the academic requirements of the institution. Efficient handling of all records and registration has helped both graduating seniors and underclassmen.
