Fun and Games Homecoming! This word strikes a chord in both students and faculty alike each year when football season rolls around. Faculty and students plan and organize the events for Homecoming many weeks in advance, and the excitement just keeps building. Pictured on this page you can see students and faculty enjoying themselves on the Friday afternoon before the big Homecoming game. One of the highlights for AHS students is an afternoon of fun and games at the park. Even the less spirited students get caught up in the festivities. Once again, the student council organized the activities at the park. Games included the tug-of-war, the circle sit, 5-legged races, piggy back races, a pudding eating contest, the plank race, and a bike race. The senior class was the overall champion during competition throughout the week and totally dominated the games at the park. Even though the seniors won the championship at the games, everybody, including the underclassmen, were good sports. Whether they won or lost, the students had a good time and looked forward to the pep rally, snake dance, and bonfire later on that night. Homecoming week at Argyle proved once and for all that AHS has the most school spirit in the State Line League! 8
