ALICE D. ANDERSON When seeking advice the students are glad to turn to Mrs. Anderson, our guidance counselor. She is also our very capable home economics instructor. That would be appropriate. WILLIAM WEILAND Coaching basketball and baseball are the two most interesting tasks for Mr. Weiland. This is also his second year of teaching our phy. ed. classes. All right, twenty-five laps! ELISE E. ROSS For many years the teaching of English and speech in Argyle High has been in the very capable hands of Mrs. Ross. The forensics and dramatic groups owe much of their success to her astute coaching. Articulate and enunciate. HAROLD WILLIAMS The social sciences are taught by Mr. Williams, another of our first-year teachers. He can be seen taking tickets at our athletic events. These work sheets are due one week from today.

ROBERT J. ARNOT Mr. Arnot has been teaching general science, biology, chemistry and physics in Argyle High for 11 years. He is more in the public eye when he is selling tickets for basketball and football games. Let's try one of these little gems. DONALD SCHOENICK At every basketball game Mr. Schoenickcan be seen keeping score. Now in his eighth year he does his usual fine job of directing instrumental and vocal music in our school. Five more minutes. DONALD OLSON Mr. Olson is in his first year at Argyle High and is teaching the commercial courses. He also serves as the instructor of the drummers from our band. That reminds me ... JAMES RAMSEIER A guiding force in organizing the Argyle Youth Club has been Mr. Ramseier. He is now in his third year at Argyle and football coach and math teacher. Now that's my theory of math.

SENIORS The motto of the Senior Class of 1959, Out of the Harbor, into the Sea, expresses our realization of what the future holds in store for us. Up to now we have been sheltered by our parents, but upon our graduation we are expected to move into the sea of life as our own navigators. Our four years in high school have been memorable ones, especially the banquet, Springtime in the Rockes, and the prom, Sail along Silvery Moon. We wish to take this opportunity to thank the teachers, advisors, parents and all otherpeople who tried to help us obtain for ourselves as much benefit from high school as possible. The colors chosen by our class are silver and rose; the gardenia is our official class flower. SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS AND ADVISERS. FIRST ROW: Sue Blesch, secretary; Nancy Johnson, vice-president; Pat Coffey, treasurer. SECOND ROW: Mr. Amot, adviser; Jerry Davis, president; Mr. Schoenick, adviser. 6
