LONG TO BE REMEMBERED Here are Ann and Andy on report card day. Their marks must be good, for they seem gay. In every class, they have done their best! Look how Andy swells his chest; And Ann, also, seems quite content With all the grades her teachers sent. This way, you see, we've tried to portray A typical Argyle High School day Through pictures of students in classes and such, Although we didn't have space for much. We have loads of other things, too, as a rule;--We have track and baseball, and ping-pong at school. We've dances occasionally during the year, Publications, basketball, and football here. We also have plays, and concerts, and things. Yes, many activities Argyle brings To offer to students with any vocations. Whether it's ag or speech or orations, Or English or math or Latin or gym. (The latter is taken to keep us in trim.) So you see, in this book we have tried to bring out Just what Argyle High School is really about. Ann and Andy have shown you the way We attend our school from day to day. 22

ANNUAL STAFF This is the eleventh year of publications of our yearbook, Treasured Echoes. Each year we strive to make improvements in quality, in interest and ideas, and in layout. For the first time we have included pictures of our baseball and track teams. Another new feature is our section on Ann and Andy Ar-gyle, two students who typify all the students of Ar-gyle High and show them in scenes from our daily school life. Since the financing of our book is quite an important item, special mention must go to Jerry Davis, business manager, who with his assistants have raised more funds through advertising and sponsors than any other group in the past. Our editor, Russell Hanson, has been a willing and capable worker during the first and fourth hours as well as the many necessary Monday night sessions. We sincerely hope that this collection of memories during the 1958-1959 school year will become more and more treasured as the years separate you from high school. Jerry Davis, business manager; Russell Hanson, edi tor; Mr. Schoenick, advisor. FIRST ROW: Jerry Davis, Russell Hanson, Margaret Barry, Ronnie Kammerud. SECOND ROW: Jim McGinnity, Norman Wold, Nancy Johnson, Ceri Bennett. ABSENT: Bill Flanagan. 23
